We price per minute of audio or video so you’ll know how much you’ll be paying for your transcript right up front.

 

BUDGET TRANSCRIPTION  

$1.00/minute

This is our most affordable transcription rate. You still get the same high quality service but we don’t guarantee a firm turnaround time. But we can guarantee that it won’t take longer than 10 days! This option is perfect for researchers and educators who are involved in larger projects over longer periods of time. 

 

STANDARD TRANSCRIPTION  

$1.25/minute

Our standard transcription is non-verbatim – meaning that we clean up the language a bit for smoother reading. This means that we omit ums and uhs and the common use of like or you know. We also omit stutters, false starts and repeated words.

 

Verbatim Transcription

$1.50/minute

Verbatim transcription is the most complicated and time consuming because it involves ensuring that every word, emotion, laugh, background noise, etc. is in the written format. It is an exact replica of the audio.

Timestamps

If requested, timestamps are included in your transcript at no charge. A time code can be inserted at the start of each paragraph and speaker change.

Turn Around Time

Most of our smaller transcription jobs are completed in 2 – 4 business days. If you require a quicker turnaround time just let us know.  We can also discuss completion dates for larger projects with multiple files.
